SmartBurs II
SmartBurs II offer a less invasive option for deep dacay removal. SS White's SmartBurs II are patented rotary cutting instruments of reinforced polymer that selectively removes carious dentin, leaving healthy dentin intact. SmartBurs II deform as they encounter harder, healthy dentin thereby protecting the pulp from exposure and reducing post-operative sensitivity. SmartBurs II are single-patient use intruments, redesigned and lower priced.
SmartBurs II instruments are available in sizes #4, #6, #8 round bur for right angle latch handpieces for speeds up to 15,000 rpm, wit even longer instrument service life gained at slower speeds of 5,000-10,000 rpm.
SmartBurs II are for patients who cannot, or will not, tolerate local anesthetisia. SmartBurs II provide the clinician with a means to reduce the patient's pain and sensitivity during deep lesion caries removal.
SmartBurs II compared to original SmartBurs have been resized, improved service life and can be used at higher speeds then the original 800 rpm.
